Are you looking for a fun paced environment that focuses on socialization and activities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)? The Arc Portland Metro is currently hiring a program coordinator to oversee the Club Impact (CI) program. Founded in 2010, this SOCIAL club has hosted drop-in gatherings every Monday from 6-8 pm–for more than 10 years! Participants socialize & build lasting relationships while playing games, celebrating birthdays, having scavenger hunts, and hanging out. Annual events, like a Summer Blast and a Holiday Dinner, are some of the annual highlights.
General Position Summary
The Arc Portland Metro is a non-profit organization supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Club Impact Program Coordinator will partner with leadership to guide and manage the daily operations of Club Impact, a social club for adults experiencing intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This position uses person centered planning approaches when collaborating with individuals/families to support the needs of the individual.
The current work schedule for this part time position will consist of 20 hours per week. Rate of pay will be $20 per hour.
