For more information please call The Arc Portland Metro Programs & Resources  @ 360-726-3033 or email us at programs@thearcpdx.org \nSensitivity level: There are a lot of participants that come to Bingo nights\, however everyone is very focused on the game so side chatter is discouraged.  We have quiet rooms where people don’t have to partake in the game if it becomes overstimulating.

DESCRIPTION:Come and join a class of 16 as you discover how to tell your story through film! \nThis six week class is open for everyone in the I/DD Community! After the 6-week class participants will meet once a month (generally on the 3rd Friday from 1-4PM) to work with their team on a project that we will later show on cable access and anywhere else the team would like. \nParticipants must commit to attending all dates: \n\nFriday\, January 17\nFriday\, January 24\nFriday\, January 31\n\n\nFriday\, February 7\nFriday\, February 14\nFriday\, February 21\n\nClasses are from 1PM to 3PM (possibly running a bit longer on some days) and will take place at MetroEast Community Media\, 829 NE 8th St\, Gresham\, OR 97030. \n\nParticipants should be accompanied by a caregiver or family member; please contact us if this isn’t possible. \n*After the course\, monthly meet-ups on the 3rd Friday of each month will allow teams to create a film on a chosen topic\, which will be shared by The Arc Portland Metro and local cable access. With team permission\, you can also share your work. \nEnrollment is $25 for the full course\, which includes a membership to MetroEast for future projects. Cash or debit card payments can be made in advance or on the first day.
