For over 40 years, the Sharing Tree at Washington Square has brought holiday joy to individuals and families in need across our community. This annual tradition collects thousands of gifts for eight local non-profit organizations — including The Arc Portland Metro — supporting people of all ages and abilities during the holiday season.

Starting November 22, guests can visit the Sharing Tree, choose an ornament, and purchase the item listed on the tag. Please return all unwrapped gifts by December 20 to ensure delivery in time for Christmas.

We’re deeply grateful to Clipped Wings, a non-profit group of retired flight attendants, for coordinating the Sharing Tree and spreading kindness each holiday season.

Please be aware – Regarding gift requests

• Think of gifts that are useful, warm clothes specifying if they are for men, women or children (sizes included).
• Items around $25 to $50
• make them more broad than specific i.e.
  • Lego’s rather than starwars, or harry potter theme lego’s
