Events

We get together for a variety of special events, including holiday celebrations and community outings. These might happen on a Monday, but they might also be on a different day of the week.

Old Spaghetti Factory Appreciation Dinner 2/24/25

We all dress up in our fabulous outfits and go out for a fancy dinner together to celebrate our volunteers, care providers, and club members. Sign up here

Wrap It Up – 12/15/25

For folks within the I/DD community we know it’s sometimes hard to buy gifts for family members and friends. This event hosts a chance for everyone to get gifts for them. Last year we had over 700 gifts and each participant got 10 gifts each!

Club Wellness is a complete, activity-rich program of fitness, nutrition and wellness designed specifically for people experiencing intellectual / developmental disabilities. 

Club Wellness has been developed in collaboration with wellness experts and people experiencing intellectual / developmental disabilities.

  • Seated options are available for all exercises 
  • Activities are safe, effective, and easy to learn
  • Activities are easy to perform independently

Designed by and for people with disabilities ages 15+, this program is committed to providing people with the tools and skills needed to live a healthy lifestyle. 

Club Wellness focuses on five areas of a healthy lifestyle:

  • Physical health
  • Emotional health
  • Social health
  • Values and beliefs
  • Health through meaningful activities

The program goals are to:

  • Understand the impacts of personal values and lifestyle choices on health and wellness
  • Learn how to cultivate a healthy life
  • Develop a self-determined health and wellness plan
  • Build a support system of peers

Programming builds a culture of inclusion, support and encouragement, where club members work together to change habits.

In each session, members experience activities, music, laughter, prizes, encouragement, and samples of healthy food from provided recipes.

Goal setting and in-home wellness activities are included to encourage lifestyle changes. Easy recipes are provided that use few ingredients and few utensils for preparation.
